A free 5-minute video review of your website.
Send me your website address and I'll record a short screen-share walking through what's working, what's likely costing you enquiries, and what I'd fix first. No cost, no call to sit through, and no pitch at the end.
What you actually get
A private video link, usually around five minutes long, of me going through your website the way one of your customers would — on a phone first, then on a desktop. You'll hear what I'm thinking as I go, not a list of scores from an automated tool.
Most website audits are a PDF generated by software: forty pages of technical warnings, no sense of what matters, and no idea which two things would actually bring in more work. This isn't that. It's one person who builds these for a living telling you what he'd change and why — including the things you can fix yourself without paying anyone.
Who it's for
Independent businesses that already have a website and suspect it isn't pulling its weight — the enquiries have gone quiet, the site looks dated next to competitors, or it was built years ago by someone who's no longer around. Kitchen and home improvement companies, trades, driving schools and local service businesses are where I do most of my work, but the review applies to any site where a customer is meant to get in touch.
It's less useful if you don't have a site yet. In that case there's nothing to review — start a project instead and we'll scope it from scratch.
What I look at.
The things that decide whether a visitor becomes an enquiry — in the order they actually matter.
-
How it loads on a phone
Most of your traffic is mobile. If it's slow or awkward there, nothing else on this list gets a chance to matter.
-
The first five seconds
What a stranger understands about what you do, who you do it for, and why you're the safe choice — before they scroll.
-
How easy it is to enquire
How many taps it takes to contact you, whether the form works, and whether anything is quietly putting people off part-way through.
-
Whether you show up locally
Your Google Business Profile, the pages meant to rank for your area, and the basic on-page setup that decides whether you appear at all.
-
What you're competing against
A quick look at how two or three competitors present the same service, and where you're being beaten on something fixable.
-
The one thing I'd fix first
Every review ends with a single priority. If you only ever act on one sentence of it, that's the sentence.
How it works.

The walkthrough
I go through your site properly and record what I find, with the reasoning behind each point.
Whenever suits you
A private link lands in your inbox within a few working days. Watch it, share it, act on it — or don't. Entirely up to you.

Thanks — I'll send your video review within a few working days.
Questions about the review.
Yes — there's no charge and no catch. It takes me about half an hour to record one properly, and it's how most people end up deciding whether they want to work with me. If the answer is no, you've still got a list of fixes you can hand to anyone.
No. Plenty of the sites I review don't need rebuilding — they need three or four specific things fixed. I'll tell you that if it's what I find, and I'll tell you which ones you can do yourself.
How the site loads on a phone, what a first-time visitor understands in the first five seconds, how easy it is to enquire or book, whether the pages that should rank locally are set up to, and where people are most likely dropping off before they contact you.
Within a few working days. It arrives as a private video link you can watch whenever you like, and share with anyone else involved in the decision.
Your website address and an email to send the video to. That's it — no call to book, no access to anything, no form-filling beyond that.
Not at all, and most of them were. The review is about what the site does for your business, not about who built it or what it's built on.
No. I'm based in Portslade and work with businesses across Brighton, Hove and the wider Sussex area, but a video review works anywhere — most of the work happens remotely regardless.
Skip the review and start a project.
If you've already decided the site needs rebuilding — or you need marketing and design alongside it — go straight to the guided form. Tell me about your business and I'll come back with real numbers.
